The 'Year Of Pluto' Documentary / Weekly Pluto Flyby Specials Begin

As NASA's New Horizons spacecraft prepares to complete its nine-year journey to Pluto, a new behind-the-scenes documentary has just been released.

Called The Year Of Pluto, the hour-long documentary follows the New Horizons science team as they bring this incredible mission to life.

NASA has also launched a four-part series that provides the latest news from the scientists and engineers behind New Horizons, as they set the stage for encounter. Topics include a mission and science overviews, a look at the spacecraft and its seven science instruments, and what we know about Pluto to date. Part 1: Mission Overview, premiere on June 9.
